Adam has over 10 years experience teaching Ashtanga yoga and has maintained his own daily self practice since 1999. He is a dedicated student of Sharath Jois at the K Pattabhi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Institute in Mysore India where he has completed the Advanced A series of postures and received Level 2 Authorisation to teach the full intermediate series.
Adam teaches through his unique insight into understanding the energy and breath of the postures and the openings required to advance through the sequence in a safe and pain free way. His aim is to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in which students can have their own experience of yoga and enjoy the many benefits from this powerful system.
Teaching yoga for over 15 years we’ve been fortunate to travel to many fantastic places, but our hearts lie on the Greek Island of Crete.The combination of the rugged beauty of the mountains rolling down to the unspoiled beaches, the warmth of the sun combined with the famous hospitality of the people, and of course the world-renowned, life-sustaining Cretan diet.
Next workshop Sunday, March 5th. We will start with a full led primary class in Sanskrit, followed by a technique session, some yoga philosophy and finish with some relaxing breath work. It’s a great way to spend more time going into depth about how you can be working in each posture to unlock the keys to progress safely through the series’ and learn about your practice off the mat.
